Christmas is coming up and I can't wait to see my family and play games and eat a huge dinner I'm so exciting and counting down the days only 11 left!

Year round school essay

My opinion on year round school is it's not a good idea if they wanted students to have year round school make that particular student go to summer school not year round school.

I believe year round school is a 50/50 I personally don't think its good but academically it may improve your knowledge?! 

The aspects that effect my session about year round school is mostly summer fun! what about vacations,sports,sleepovers,summer camp also teachers need a break not just the students. 

I don't attend a year round school I never have. I've never had an experience with year round school but I have had a experience without year round school considering summer break is so much fun! I went on my first vacation last year on an airplane I went to Florida and that was problebly the best memory in my life and the most fun I've ever had with my mom and could never have done that if we had year round schooling, so many kids would never have an experience like I had if they had year round schooling 

I don't know anyone who has ever been in a year round school but I don't think they would like it!

On weekends people have family occasions and we would never really have time to hangout with friends  this would increase dropouts! . It's like the wet sponge. It can only take too much water before it's too saturated and needs a break to evaporate some of that stuff. So in conclusion year round school is NOT a good idea.

Write an argument about year round schools by writing a claim and then having at least 3 pieces of evidence Each piece of evidence should be in its own separate sentence Each piece of evidence should be a different evidence type!

Year round schooling is a good and bad idea I've never had year round schooling but I have had breaks, summer breaks. Breaks are good they give you a time to take a break from tests and relax hence the name breaks. If you don't your brain will be fried! 3/3 students in my class said year round school is bad because you will be to tired to work and get off task.

The time I came to BCS 

 

       As I stepped in the doorway the air smelled sweet I took a few steps and before I know it kids were pouring in form every direction! I didn't know that many people I knew five people Helen Devine, Emme sparks, Fiona Moore, Sam goodman and Zachary brown. I knew a 2 other kids from a garage sale over the summer Riley cook, Clayton fox.  As I walk to my locker bay I see a perky little blonde next to me! She introduces herself as "Kylee Haddad" she takes me to my class room after we put our stuff away. My mom gives me a hug and kiss and says to "have a great day"! 

       We walk in a room with a teacher in a fancy shirt and pants were a pin that says "sun planter" as I sit down in a seat next to Kylee she introduces me to spunky girl walking towards Kylee she says "Hi, my names I'Yana". So far I'm getting to meet a lot of people then she introduces me to the last person he walks up and starts talking he says " why are you wearing a black dress?" I start thinking to myself well that's great he doesn't even tell me his name and he's already criticizing me! I ignore him stating " whats your name" he replays saying " Cory,Cory Gluckman

I say " Lydia Hamilton".

       And last but not least their was one kid in particular I wanted to meet i didn't know his name he was a blonde and had a jacket on he got up out of he's seat and ran around the room pretending to be an airplane making noises going nuts. I didn't know what to do but there was definitely something weird going on! The kids make was Riley cook!  Now this was gonna be a crazy year!

As we walked in my room I doubted the thought multiple times but she was the guest and that’s what she wanted I couldn’t say no, even thought I tried my mom said I’ve seen worse but still this might be the worst yet. Emme Sparks took the orange Popsicle and I took the red one. We walked back in the room and I pressed the button.

                                                  “Thank you, for your rental!”

I looked at her as she looked at me I gave her a sneer and she just smiled. You could feel the thickness in the air as I pressed play Emme sat in the bean bag and I sat in my bed under the blanket. It was started now we did it and there was no turning back, as we licked are Popsicle in fear Emme stated

“Ha-ha, you have the red one, the color of blood”

“well your eating gooey buggy Mac-n-cheese”

We both Sat are food on the counter and left it in fear I looked turned off the lights as they gave the cast and crew names. Emme and I both pointed out the people we knew. Then forest, forest everywhere trees bushes and bugs I watched the blonde run away in fear until she reached the lake with a weapon in one hand and a necklace in the other the old woman stood in her place with a weapon in her hand she yelled

“You watched him die, you should have been watching him”

“It’s not my fault” she yelled

The older woman forced the weappon at the blonde councilor the blonde ducked ever so swiftly and threw the weapon  at the old woman as she fell to the ground the blonde ran away.  Now the movie was really starting.

            As these kids walked up to the camp site we all ready new there was only going to be one survivor. As we watched the campers we predicted right one survived and was taken to a room and then it said the movie started so Emme and I finally were ready, as the movie was playing my mom was cleaning up and my dad was with my brother. Emme and I heard the door shake we hid under the covers, Emme and I heard the door shake we hid under the covers, it was only my dad so we got up and I gave him a hug before he left for work he smelled like cigars.

 He told us “be careful, Jason like to go through windows” at the same time Emme and I popped up and opened the blinds to the four windows in my room then we sat down. As the movie went on Emme said “can I go on the bed with you?” I laughed and said yes. She hopped under the covers with me as we watched the sweat go down the terrified people and the screams coming out of there mouths as we watched them terrified and screaming we thought about what would happen if we were in there shoes.

 Emme said

“I would only go back and save them if It was family, how about you?”

I told her no one because I don’t have to worry about that!

Why not? She asked

“Because I’m never going camping again”

*she laughed*

“Thank god we didn’t watch this in 5^th grade camp” I said as we both nodded in agreement.

We sat back down to enjoy the neck chilling movie. When it was over we got up went downstairs and did homework when we finished Emme’s parents came we gave each other a look and we both knew neither of us are sleeping tonight!

“I’m nervous” I said “scardy cat” As we walked in my bedroom and turned on the TV, the white on the walls seemed to bright as bright as snow, snow sparkling in the sun! the wood on my floor new and polished, I have never paid this much attention or detail to my room. I guess that’s what happens when you’re scared. I doubted the thought multiple times but she was the guest and that’s what she wanted I couldn’t say no, even thought I tried my mom said I’ve seen worse but still this might be the worst yet. Emme Sparks took the orange Popsicle and I took the red one. We walked back in the room and I pressed the button.

Then forest, forest everywhere trees bushes and bugs I watched the blonde run away in fear until she reached the lake with the machete in one hand and a necklace in the other the old woman stood in her place with a knife in her hand she yelled

“You watched him die, you should have been watching, my little baby Jason is gone, all the other councilors are dead you’re the last one”

“It’s not my fault” she yelled

The older woman forced the knife at the blonde councilor the blonde ducked ever so swiftly and threw the machete at the old woman as she fell to the ground the blonde ran away.  Now the movie was really starting.

            As these kids walked up to the camp site we all ready new there was only going to be one survivor. As we watched the campers we predicted right one survived and was taken to a cellar and then it said the movie started so Emme and I finally were ready, as the movie was playing my mom was cleaning up and my dad was with my brother. Emme and I heard the door shake we hid under the covers, Emme and I heard the door shake we hid under the covers, it was only my dad so we got up and I gave him a hug before he left for work he smelled like cigars.

 He told us “be careful, Jason like to go through windows” at the same time Emme and I popped up and opened the blinds to the four windows in my room then we sat down. As the movie went on Emme said “can I go on the bed with you?” I laughed and said yes. She hopped under the covers with me as we watched the sweat go down the terrified people and the screams coming out of there mouths as we watched them terrified and screaming we thought about what would happen if we were in there shoes.

 Emme said

“I would only go back and save them if It was family, how about you?”

I told her no one because I don’t have to worry about that!

Why not? She asked

“Because I’m never going camping again”

*she laughed*

“Thank god we didn’t watch this in 5^th grade camp” I said as we both nodded in agreement.
